I'm an avid UI/UX designer. My first priority is making sure user needs are met. I believe that users should be impowered and accomodated by website design.

I've used tools such as Figma to build detailed website mockups with mobile-first layouts.

I strive to encorporate SEO best practices into my sites. I believe that an optimized website with high-quality content is the foundation of good SEO.

I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance in 2018. Shortly afterwards, I discovered a passion for programming. I self-taught myself software development with a focus on full stack web development.

I have been actively programming and building websites since 2018. I've used languages and technologies such as PHP, HTML, CSS/SCSS, JavaScript, React, Python/Flask/Django, C#, Java, and SQL.

Software Engineer - Lightcast

Problem

Improve data visualization and analysis capabilities for labor market data on Lightcast's flagship platform, Analyst.

Solution

Developed new features using a variety of technologies, including PHP, JavaScript, and SQL. Led technical onboarding for new team members. Collaborated with team members and product managers to accuratly scope new features.

Result

Greatly expanded data visualization and analysis capabilities within the Analyst platform. Became a go-to resource for new team members by providing thorough guidance and support.

Developer - Choctaw Nation

Problem

Build a new web based reporting solution to replace a legacy WebFocus server. Develop web based interfaces that are dynamic, feature-rich, and accurate.

Solution

Built over 40 report and dashboard solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Built easy to navigate portals for end users. Added functionality for passing contextual parameters between reports, allowing advance drill down and drill through.

Result

Increased scope and interactivity of reporting. Provided interfaces that solved high-value business problems for key stakeholders. Nominated "Associate of the Quarter" for excellent performance.

Accountant - Choctaw Nation

Problem

Ensure that account and business unit financials are accuratly recorded and reflected. Create and optimize processes as needed.

Solution

Accuratly facilitated month end review and balancing of accounts. Optimized and automated internal processes using Python. Overhauled process for paying Oklahoma and Texas sales taxes.

Result

Saved over 20 hours on monthly processes while also improving accuracy and reach. Reduced errors in booked transactions. Greatly optimized tax payment process.
